Time to think about next\u00a0year and summer cycling!<\/p>\n
In a break with tradition, we will not be returning to Avon Tyrrell this year as changes to the way they operate means they will no longer take a rally booking. However, we are excited to announce that this year’s rally will go ahead at Hurst View campsite near Lymington. Alastair and David have had to work hard to find a site that meets our needs in terms of taking a combination of tents and caravans\/campers (not all will take a mix). The unavoidable downside is that it doesn’t have facilities for a barn dance or many electric hook-up points. In every other aspect it’s a great site and we’re looking forward to scouting new rides and planning alternative entertainment for the week.<\/p>\n The committee have arranged for electricity to be available in the information tent and will organise another empty tent which will be a community resource for charging bikes, phones etc. We are also looking into making a communal fridge and freezer available. Our rally field is part of a larger campsite which does have electric hook ups for a limited number of caravans in a different field, should that be a priority for you and if they are still available when you book.<\/p>\n This site is taking rally bookings now, so don’t delay, and we look forward to seeing you all in the summer.
